Lilou

Lilou is a fresh wooly soul. She was born into the early morning, along with all the birds' first songs of the day. When she cried her first baby cry, the morning star smiled: She has a bright future ahead, she sure does! She is so loved...
Little Lilou was born in my dreams long before I could bring her to dolly-life.

I dreamed of a baby that had that newborn squishy sweet face. I saw her face in my mind, and it was almost like she could breathe, like my own little pinocchio. But I had to wait looooong before I could use my hands to bring her from my mind into the real world.

My skills needed to mature so I could walk the right path towards this little wool baby.

Then that day came. I woke up, and I knew I could finally meet her in real life!
I started rolling the wool for her head. Many days and many nights went into finding her face in the wool with my felting needles.
I loved her from begining, but it was a magical moment when I finally got to see her little face in my hands!

I designed a new body pattern for her. She has firmly stuffed, weighted limbs. But her belly is linned with fleece, weighted, and only softly stuffed. So she is really posable, and her movements are truly lifelike.

Lilou measures around 16in and fits loosely into NB clothes, like a real newborn baby.
She was made with sunkissed DWE, stuffed with sweet smelling sheep's wool. She is weighted with rock sand. Her hair is a blond mohair kemper wig securely sewn in place.
She was colored with beeswax crayons and CaranD'Ache pencils (that is why she is NOT WASHABLE and I highly recomend her to adult collectors or 8+ gentle kids)

She goes home with:
Flanel sacque
vintage style diaper cover
simple vintage style cloth diaper with a pin
Pink beanie
Pink blanket (knitted by Isaura Carvalho)
Yellow booties (Also knitted by Isaura Carvalho)
Paci with magnet (CAREFULL AROUND LITTLE ONES)
Merino wool bonnet
Chambray flowery romper
She is hoping to know her mama's (or daddy's) name today!

Ponijao at the park

It was a lovely sunny day, finally. We've had so many gray sky days lately! These kind of days usually put me in a gloomy mood. So I had a big smile on my face when I woke up this morning to a beautiful clean blue sky!

I decided to take Ponijao to the park. She is not like me and was happy all along as the rainy days rolled. They gave us plenty of time to read some stories quietly in the house. But either way she enjoyed the ride. Which baby doesn't like the swing, the slide and the seesaw?

The park had many crunchy leaves on the ground, autumn really arrived steady and strong! And this was little Ponijao's favorite part. She loved the crispy sound the fallen leaves made as she sitted on them and shuffled her chubby legs and feet.

A well deserved sun bathing session after all the fun had Ponijao in the perfect mood for a good nap on the way home...
Now she feels all warm and healthy, perfectly ready to wait for her mama to find her at dollectable tonight.

Click HERE to go to Ponijao's Dollectable link.
She is being offered via drawing and
her adoption fee is 605 dollars + shipping.

Picture for size reference. My 7yo gently held Ponijao. She was very happy, as  I rarely let her touch the nursery babies ;)

Ponijao

She can't speak yet, so she will grab a book, crawl to your side, and hand it over to you. She wants a story. She will quietly sit on your lap as she attentively listens to whitchever story is unrolling.
She can't read yet, but she is sure a reader!

Ponijao and her friend Zazi, the Zebra (actually a baby rattle, but Ponijao's inseparable friend) are looking for a family who loves books too, and can read them both lots of advetures!

Ponijao is a 15" preemie size baby. She is made with soft dark brown DWE and stuffed with sweet sheep's wool. Her facial features are needle sculpted carefully, her body has many soft sculpted accents. She is blushed with colored beeswax (and a few details in high quality caran d'ache pencils). Her hair is made from black boucle Dolly Mo mohair yarn crocheted into a wig and stitched securely to her head.

She goes home with:

Eloise

Eloise is a girly baby girl.

She enjoys wearing dresses, bows, lace and flowers. She loves everything that is pink.

She gives a shy smile to the ones she loves.

She will be content to be held all day long, as she doesn't like to be left alone.

The only thing that breaks her good mood is to way too long for her next meal: this girl has a great apetite!

I hope she makes her mama happy with her delicious baby giggles and her chubby arms that love to hug !
